New iPhone!
Apple unveils iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone Air

Apple held its first fall event, where Tim Cook and his team introduced the next generation of iPhones along with updated Apple Watch models. We’ve got a quick rundown of the new iPhones, and we can’t wait to check them out hands-on.
iPhone 17: 120Hz and a familiar design
The new model now comes with a 6.3-inch display featuring a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz — something users have been waiting for.
It’s powered by the A19 chip with a 16-core Neural Engine, 6 CPU cores, and 5 GPU cores.
The base version includes 256GB of storage.
Both the main and telephoto cameras are 48MP, with 2x zoom support.
U.S. price starts at $799.
iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max: new materials and more power
The flagship models are back to an aluminum frame — after two generations of titanium.
The back design has also changed: the camera island now has a much larger cover, which many have already called at least controversial.
The rear panel is no longer glass, but Ceramic Shield, designed to improve durability and scratch resistance.
Inside is the A19 Pro chip, focused on performance, promising up to 40% more power in gaming and long-term workloads.
Base storage is 256GB.
The triple-camera setup now uses 48MP sensors across the board, supporting 4x and 8x optical zoom and up to 40x digital zoom. Video recording has been improved with support for ProRes RAW.
U.S. prices: from $1099 for iPhone 17 Pro and from $1199 for Pro Max.
iPhone Air: the thinnest iPhone ever
Instead of the expected iPhone 17 Plus, Apple unveiled an entirely new lineup — the iPhone Air.
The body is just 5.6mm thin, making it the slimmest iPhone in history. It comes with a 6.5-inch display supporting 120Hz and Always-On, along with a rugged build that Apple calls “the most durable ever.”
Under the hood is the A19 Pro chip (6 CPU + 5 GPU) and the new C1X combined module, which integrates Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Thread — the second generation of Apple’s custom chip first seen in the iPhone 16e.
The camera is 48MP with a 2x mode.
Apple also promises improved AI-based power-saving algorithms and full-day battery life. To highlight this, they introduced a new MagSafe battery pack alongside the device.
U.S. price starts at $999.
The new iPhone Air completely removes the physical SIM card slot — supporting only eSIM. This marks a major step toward the future of mobile connectivity, where plastic SIM cards are fading into the past and digital solutions make getting online faster, easier, and more secure.
In today’s fast-paced world of mobile technology, staying connected anytime, anywhere is what matters most. fedafone users are already ahead of the curve, having embraced the convenience and reliability of eSIM long ago — whether for travel, business trips, or everyday life.
