Where can you go as a freelancer in Europe

Travelers of the 21st century: digital nomads

Imagine that you do not have to wait for a vacation to go to the ocean or climb the mountains. More and more countries are implementing digital nomad visas - these are programs for those who seek to combine work and travel or want to try living in another country while continuing to work for themselves. The usual list of requirements and documents includes a completed application form, photographs, a valid foreign passport, medical insurance for the period of stay and no criminal record. In addition, proof of remote work and sufficient funds for living is required. Most countries accept applications online.

We are launching a series of articles where we will talk about all the nuances of obtaining a digital nomad visa: which countries are accepted, what should be the minimum income and what kind of remote work is suitable for registration. Requirements for candidates may change from time to time, so it is recommended to check the current information on the official website of the program of the chosen country. A digital nomad visa is a great opportunity to move to a new country and try on the “expat skin”. Many high-income remote workers can try to live in another country without large investments and the need to open a business or buy real estate. If you don’t like it, you can always change your place of residence without regrets and unnecessary restraining obligations.

In any case, any move implies a lot of stress, it will not work to do everything online in advance, and at first you will have to run a lot to different authorities. In order to focus on the main thing and not worry that at the most crucial moment you will be left without the Internet, we recommend purchasing tariffs from fedafone in the country you need or for the entire European region at once. Believe us, the ability to be in touch 24/7 will really make your life easier for the first couple of weeks!
